I firmly believe that you can get a business to about £1 million turnover, £1 million revenue, without many systems in place.
Up to that level, a lot of the information can still be housed in the business owners’ head.
However, if you want to start scaling beyond that, you really need dialled in systems and processes, in order to be able to be able to scale.
In all honesty, less than £1 million turnover, if you don’t have your systems in place, it’s not going to break the business, but it might just break you as a business owner, it might just cause you complete exhaustion.
Without a doubt, when you are reaching about £100K, you need to start making sure that you have systems and processes being built, otherwise it just causes you a lot of time and a lot of headache.
If you are reaching that £1 million and you do not have that stuff sorted, you do not have it all nailed down, one, your business is going to be worth significantly less than you might think it is because everything is in your head and everything relies on you.
And two, you’re gonna be spending a lot of time that you don’t need to be stressing about things that might go wrong, that are in your head, that are not documented, that no one else can pick up on.
